THE OPTIMISM FORMULA
How experience becomes optimism, or pessimism.
Discover the Optimism Formula broken down into six parts. This is the result of two years of research in positive psychology, neuroscience, and spirituality, plus what I’ve observed coaching people for over a decade.
01
Experience
Every experience is completely neutral until you assign it meaning. This is where the formula begins and where most people lose control without realizing it.
02
The story you tell yourself
The moment you give an experience meaning, a story begins. Most of it is fiction and every time you remember something, you rewrite it.
03
The power of language
The words you use daily (in your self-talk, your conversations, even the songs you sing) reinforce beliefs you didn’t consciously choose.
04
The wall
Between pessimism and optimism sits an invisible barrier nobody talks about. It’s not a mindset problem. It’s an energy problem.
05
The cycle
The formula isn’t a straight line. It’s a loop. Your language and stories don’t just describe your experiences. They loop back and shape the ones you attract next.
06
Your next step
Understanding this map is the beginning, not the destination. This part shows you exactly how to go further, at whatever pace makes sense for you right now.
You can’t have an optimistic future if you don’t let go of your traumatic past. Not detach from it but let go of it. Completely.
